Welcome! SME Entrepreneur Acumen Newsletter
!I am happy to launch our first issue of the SME Entrepreneur Acumen monthly newsletter. We at Entreprenomics hope that our content and advice will assist entrepreneurs in developing their ventures.
We will cover many topics crafted to help entrepreneurs in the growth stage of their business life cycle. There is often a lack of relevant and practical knowledge resources.
I will be your editor and primary contributor and happily guide you throughout your entrepreneurial journey. We will invite experts to offer advice to help you in specialised areas. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
Here are some of the areas we will be covering:
Growth strategies
After the start-up stage, entrepreneurs now have to scale their enterprises. This approach requires a board-based method to increase the new firm's top line. Whether using low-cost digital marketing, masterful networking techniques, making your staff more entrepreneurial, or improving the performance of your family business, we shall offer tips to expand your operations.
Business Model change
After you have tested your model and received validation, it is time to look at refinement. Venture creators often look to grow their business model before market acceptance or upscale it incorrectly. We will show you how to examine the different aspects of your model and find growth opportunities.
Family Business dynamic
We know from research that most SMEs are family-owned and operated. Family enterprises are different and, therefore, need a different approach to dealing with the five significant challenge areas: succession planning, conflict, governance, strategic planning, and continuing the entrepreneurial culture for growth. We will offer resources to tackle these BIG FIVE.
Digital Marketing
Your newsletter will cover some online strategies that will open new markets and grow your top line. We will close the digital gap with larger firms. In addition, we will demonstrate how the digital landscape can lower your cost structure.
Knowledge Entrepreneurship
We live in the knowledge era and need different competencies to survive and thrive. You, as a knowledge professional, may wish to transition to entrepreneurship. We will provide you with the tools and strategies to transform your thinking so that you can monetise your talents and develop as a knowledge solopreneur.
Psychological Strategies for Resilience
The SME Entrepreneur Acumen newsletter will take a non-traditional approach that other publications do not. We recognise that entrepreneurs lead stressful lives and often suffer from mental health challenges. While we are not psychiatrists, we will offer simple, science-based coping tips so you may continue your journey with minimal impact on your personal and business life.
Innovation
Creative problem-solving strategies could open new ways to serve your stakeholders better. Either you are innovative, or you will disintegrate! In a fast-changing business world, better means bigger (value-creating strategies). The newsletter will address how emerging firms worldwide use new methods and offer mini-case studies to inform best practices for development.
Intrapreneurship
You may have heard of how large companies lose their entrepreneurial spirit, which the founders used to start the business. While SMEs grow, they recruit managers who may not possess an entrepreneurial mindset. The newsletter will offer simple ways to develop your staff's mindset as entrepreneurs.
Personal Selling strategies
While you may have a sales team, you must develop your selling skills and those in the marketing group to sell with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will learn to seek opportunities and create selling strategies for SMEs and family firms.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Large and small companies have a stake in developing their markets and industries. Entrepreneurship offers a more sustainable model for addressing social issues. The donation model is broken, and financial contributors suffer from donor fatigue. Social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education can solve wicked problems such as poverty, discrimination (women, the elderly, disabled), environmental challenges, and young people wishing to contribute to society.
Online Community Space
In a few weeks, we will start a virtual entrepreneur space where venture owners can comment on key topics and current issues. The objective is to encourage sharing and to create new knowledge through best practices and new thinking. Look out for this in your email box.
Gift for signing up
As a subscriber, we will offer you a mini-ebook, Inside the Mindset of the Entrepreneur. Please spread the word, as our goal is to publish monthly and support your dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur.
Free Support
